- Intuitive- She is really good at sensing things and being able to react quickly. In a way she's just really lucky.
Strength- She's fairly strong because she was the eldest in her family and worked for her parents farm when she was younger. Both physically, and being able to bend heavy things. She travelled to Republic city because it was hard to find a bender she got a long with to further her studies, and she is often stuck with wanderlust.
Defense- Although she is fairly strong, her coordination with offensive bending needs quite a bit of work. She is much better at defense partially because of her watter affinity. She travelled with a water bender when crossing the swamps who taught her a lot about water bending philosophies.
Personality:
- Shòu is stong willed and insightful, and usually very patient. Being in cahoots with Enlai and Lien she has learned a lot about being able to put on a polite and well mannared face around her surperiors, and knowing how to have fun. She is very fixed in her opinions but she'll first get you to go away before making them known. She is thoughtful and will usually plan out all her options before picking whichever feels right. She relies a lot on her insticts and they are usually right as long as it is on nothing too specific.

- Her head bowed in a slight dip, Shou smiled softly at the scene before her. Her toes wiggled deeper into the grass as she watched a couple cross a bridge in the part, sighing slightly. The man was obviously her servant yet as Shòu continued to stare after them he tripped her. Shòu sat up taller, nearly pushing herself off the ground to figure out what was going on when the girl caught herself and shot a small spark at him. It was barely perceptible in the glow of the sunset but she had seen it. Sighing, she turned her gaze from them and looked across the park idly. The amount of people was dwindling in the setting sun, few left to appreciate the warm orange glow warming the earth or the shimmering reflections on the water.
Additional Info:
Decent fighter, nothing exceptional. (She prefers to let Enlai do the heavy lifting, she's more a defensive kinda gal.) She's good at Earth walls and using slightly smaller rocks to block attacks. She tend to experiment with all the ways she can use small rocks to do things. She has a hobby of pulling minerals out of the ground and forming them into solid blocks to carve. It takes quite awhile to form a good block over time, and she mainly uses tools to carve, not her bending.
Brief Life History:
She was born into a wealthy family, although her immediate family wasn't quite as wealthy as the rest and owned a farm in the Western Earth Kingdom.
Her mother's side believed that women were not meant to bend, and if they did only for small tasks etc. So her Aunt in the Republic offered to take Shou in to 'reform' her to be more lady like.
Her mother saw it as an opportunity to let her have a life on the wealthier end of her family. Her father was kind of a push over for her mum, although he was a very kind man in general. Her Mother could bend but her father could not, and He ended up using what he knew of his wife's abilities to teach Shou about bending. He was her first instructor, and because of how her mother was taught to bend earth as delicately as possible her early years were mostly focused on smaller things. Also how she learned to isolate minerals.
On her way to Republic city she spent a good portion of time with the water benders in the swamp and learned water bender techniques, and found she synced well with them and translating them to earth bending in small ways.
In RC she lives with her Aunt who immediately put her into a higher-end school. This is were she met Lien and learned how to be polite and use proper manners etc. Although she tends to ignore those teachings when she's away from school and her aunt she did learn them well and took the lessons to heart, so she can be a very good actress when she needs to put up a frount. The girl is a sponge for information.
She still "lives" with her aunt, although she pretty much only sleeps there if she has too and stays out in the city all day.
